Biography
John Edgar Wease was born in 1865, in Missouri, a son of John Wease and Anne Hildebrand. He is found as "Edgar Wease" on the United States census of 1850, living with his parents in Meramec Township, St Louis county, Missouri. [1]
On October 13, 1886, in Jefferson, Missouri, John married Harriet Anna Haverstick, born January 3, 1864, a daughter of William Johnson Haverstick and Elizabeth R. Vinyard. [2] Children of John Edgar and Harriet include Archie, Ethel, and Elsie. [3]
John Edgar Wease died March 1, 1948, in his early 80s and is buried in the Woodlawn Memorial Park cemetery, in DeSoto, Jefferson county, Missouri. There is a photograph of the headstone that he and Harriet share, on his Find A Grave memorial. [4] Their son, Archibald Edward Wease, born in 1894, is also buried in this same cemetery.
