Biography

Jeremiah Webb was born on May 18, 1823, in Warren County, Tennessee. He married Eliza Jane Jones on September 19, 1847, in his hometown. During the Civil War he enlisted as a Private in Company D, 13th Cavalry Regiment Tennessee.They had ten children in 20 years. He arrived in Texas some time after 1890. He died on May 21, 1900, in Pendleton, Texas, having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried there.
