Biography

Emma (Weddall) Maw was born in Yorkshire, England.

Emma Weddall was born in 1870 in Thorne, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Edwin Weddall and Ann Elizabeth Harrison, and was born on 4 July (year not recorded) and baptised on 4 October 1871 in Thorne, Yorkshire. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

In 1871 ^[4] and 1881 Emma was living with her parents and siblings in Thorne, Yorkshire.^[5]

On 27 November 1889 she married Joseph Maw at St Andrew's Church, Drypool, Yorkshire, ^[6] and they returned to live in Crowle. Joseph was a Farmer and they had one son Arthur Joseph Maw in 1890. ^{[7] [8]}

Emma died age 54 on 28 October 1925, ^[9] and was buried in Crowle Cemetery.^[10][11]
