Otto Eduard Weddigen was born in Herford, Westphalia, Germany, 15 Sep 1882. He was the son of Eduard Weddigen and Thusnelde Humfeld.[1]
Kapitänleutnant Otto Weddigen, World War U-Boat commander, was awarded the Iron Cross (first class) amongst other medals.[2][3]
