Biography

Sarah Wellington was born Dec 23, 1810 in Watertown, MA, daughter of Thaddeus Wellington and Sarah "Sally" Nourse. She married (intentions dated Dec 12, 1829) Silas Burbank, who born Apr 15, 1801 in Newburyport, MA. He is the son of David Burbank and Ruth Tenney. He was a painter and they lived for a while in Salem, MA. After her death, Silas married, second, her sister Mary Wellington. Silas and Sarah also have a daughter named Mary Wellington (Burbank) Nelson.
