Biography

Richard Wells arrived in Western Australia in the early 1840s.^[1]

Married. On the 24th ultimo, at the Middle Swan, by the Rev. W. MITCHELL, RICHARD WELLS, youngest son of the late JAMES WELLS, Esq., of Albourn, Wilts, to HELEN MARY, eldest daughter of the late DR. GRAHAM, formerly of the R.F.I.C. Service.^[2]

Richard was a Perth accountant in 1868. He was owner of Town Lot V 1/2 31.^[1]

Another old identity of Perth, Mr. Rich ard Wells, has passed away. Deceased had reached a very advanced age, and until quite recently retained most of his faculties in a remarkable degree.^[4]
