Lady Diana West (1731–1766) was the youngest surviving daughter of the first Earl De La Warr and his first wife Charlotte McCarty. She m. in 1756 Sir John James Clavering KB, the youngest surviving son of Sir James Clavering, sixth baronet (1680–1748), and his wife, Catherine Yorke (1682–1723), daughter of Thomas Yorke MP of Gouthwaite and Richmond, Yorkshire, and his wife, Catherine. They had two sons and three daughters.
