William was born in 1792. He is the son of William Wetenhall and Frances Nesham.

1st married at Boulogne, France on 19 Dec 1835 as Captain to Emily Georgina Rodney (witness: Frances Wetenhall presumably mother)

2nd married, as widower, at St George Hanover Sq, London on 25 Jun 1844 to Agnes Margaret Wettenhall (his 3rd cousin and d/o Peter Wettenhall)
