Biography
Phillis Whiffen, [1] daughter of Thomas Whiffen and Mary Ann Pottle, [2] was born in about November 1849 in Wimborne, Dorset. [1][2] She was baptised on 13 January 1850 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset. [3] She married George Edwards on 20 May 1871 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset. [4]

On 30 March 1851 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, with her parents Thomas Whiffen and Mary Anne Whiffen, her siblings Sarah Whiffen aged 16, Louisa Whiffen aged 14, Edward Whiffen aged 11, Charles Whiffen aged 9 and Henry Whiffen aged 6 and her uncle Edward Pottle aged 30. [2]
On 7 April 1861 in Merry Field, Wimborne, Dorset, with her parents Thomas Whiffen and Mary A. Whiffen, her siblings Sarah Whiffen aged 25, Henry Whiffen aged 15 and Mary Whiffen aged 7 and her nephew Fred Wiffen aged 2. [5]
