Biography
When Elizabeth Whiteford was born on September 10, 1844, in South Carolina, her father, David, was 23, and her mother, Susannah, was 20. She married Pinkney W. Neely in 1881 and they had one daughter,[1] Susie V. Neely (1881–1957).[2] Elizabeth died on April 20, 1907, in her hometown at the age of 62, and was buried in Laurens, South Carolina.[3]
