Biography
Thomas Whitfield was born on 18 October 1835 in Burtonwood Lancashire England the son of William Whitfield and Mary. He was baptised 3 January 1836 at Burtonwood. [1]
In 1841 he was living on Alder Lane Warrington Lancashire with his parents and 2 siblings. [2]
In 1851, he was liiving on his grandmother's farm on Chapel Lane Burtonwood Lancashire. He was a labourer at a chemical works. [3]
Thomas Whitfield (a widower) married Ann Broadhurst (a spinster) on 16 March 1889 at Christ Church, Latchford, Cheshire [4] (Father William Whitfield; Bride's father James Broadhurst)
In 1891 the couple lived on Northwich Road Stockton Heath with Annie's mother [5]
In 1901 they lived on Warrington Road Moore [6]
In 1911 they lived in Acton Grange (an area between Moore and Walton) [7]
