Biography
Anne Askew Whitridge (both her first names are always used) was born in 1798 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England. [1]
She married John Davies from Wem, Shropshire, in 1818. She married at the comparatively early age of 19.
When John Davies died in 1857, Mrs Davies returned to live at Chapel House, Arthur Street, Oswestry, where she was born.
She passed away in 1883, aged 84. [2]
