Henry was born in 1561. He is the son of Edward Widdrington and Ursula Carnaby. Hodgson mentions this Henry was Deputy Warden of the Middle Marches under Robert Carey. Robert Carey married Elizabeth Trevanian, the young widow of Sir Henry Widdrington, this Henry's uncle. This Henry, in turn, seems to take a young bride Mary Curwen about 1610 - he about 50, she about 20 - and they have about 7 children before Henry's death in 1623. He was Knighted in 1614. His daughter Katherine/Catherine married William Riddell.
