Biography
Elisha Daboll Wightman was born in 1822. He was the son of John Wightman and Bridget Allyn. He married Matilda Matthewson on November 15, 1846 in Groton, New London, Connecticut, United States. He passed away in 1885.
Elisha D. Wightman lived after marriage in Groton, and then in Stonington, Connecticut, where he was an officer in the local bank. In 1862 he removed to Juneau County, Wisconsin, where he engaged in the logging and lumber business. In later years he lived in Elroy, Wisconsin.
