Biography
Jesse Willard was born on February 6, 1760. He resided in Moreland County, Pennsylvania. ON January 7, 1786, he purchased three tracts of land in Southampton, Bucks county, and settled there, but in 1799 sold his Bucks county real estate and supposedly returned to Moreland.
Jesse married twice:
(1) ? Wynkoop
They had children:
- Esther Willard, b. 1789, d. 1835
- David Willard, b. 1795, d.1875
- Nicholas Wynkoop Willard, b. 1798
(2) Margaret Van Artsdalen, m. Dec 20. 1800.[1]
Jesse and Margarent had seven children:
- Jesse Willard
- Esther Willard
- James V Willard
- Charles Willard, married Rachel Stockdale, then Phebe Lee
- Jackson WIllard
- William Willard
- Jane Willard, married Harmon Marshall.
Jesse died on November 28, 1819 in Southampton, Pennsylvania. [2]
