All of the children of Albert Teed Whittaker, Sr. and Ada Mae Williams were born on a houseboat at the mouth of the Elk River, where they lived.
Ada Mae is buried at Spring Hill Cemetery at Charleston WV.

The cause of death was advanced pulmonary tuberculosis. She suffered with this affliction for over five years. She was a housewife. Their residence when Ada died was on Maple Drive in Charleston, West Virginia. Undertaker was John Barlow.
