When Adaline Williams was born on December 19, 1814, in Reading, Vermont, her father, Abner, was 21 and her mother, Rhoda, was 17. She married Ebenezer Robinson on January 4, 1837. Ebenezer Robinson died prematurely in 1849, at only age 40. Adaline W. Robinson met and married Alba Childs in Vermont, and sometime in the mid to late 1850's they moved to Wisconsin where they kept a farm in Walworth County (alternately, Rock County). Adaline Williams Robinson Childs (Mrs. A W R Childs) died on July 18, 1894, and was buried at Springfield Union Cemetery, Springfield, Walworth County, Wisconsin where her husband Alba is also buried.
