Biography

James Wilson was born on 25 January 1862 in County Antrim, Ireland.

James (34) married Jean Baxter Couper (22) (born in 1873) on 7 October 1896 in New Zealand.[1]

Their known daughter was Christina Boswell Wilson (27 July 1897 – 10 January 1947).

James died on 18 February 1948 in Gisborne, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, aged 86.[2] and is buried in the Opotiki Cemetery.
