Debunking
There is no documentation in the Visitations, in Burke's Peerage, nor in parish church records to prove this person and his family existed. The only sources available are undocumented online private trees and undocumented Find a Grave Memorials.[1] It is unlikely this person ever existed.
The death date for this profile, which matched the Find a Grave Memorial for this person, matches the death date for William Wilson, father of William Wilson, Canon of Windsor. Wilson-725. The profile Wilson-725 is correct. The death date for this fake profile will remain so that it matches the Find a Grave Memorial. The person who created the Find a Grave Memorial must have "borrowed" the death date of the person Wilson-725.
Biography
The original biography posited that William had married Ann Cumberworth. This is incorrect. Anne Cumberworth was the wife of Thomas Wilson of Strubby. Anne and Thomas were the parents of Sir Thomas Wilson., a Member of Parliament.
