Biography

On 07 July 1891, at Cookstown manse, Emily Wilson, full age, spinster, daughter of H B Wilson, Presbyterian minister, married Thomas Glass, full age, bachelor, residence-Claggan, Presbyterian minister, son of James Glass, farmer. Thomas Glass was assistant minister with HBW in Cookstown. Thomas and Emily were in Australia 1915-22, when he was minister of St George’s Presbyterian Church, St Kilda, Melbourne. They must have returned to Ireland, as Emily’s last address at her death, in 1936 was Eglantine Avenue in Belfast.

Will of Emily Glass, dated 6/6/1933, witnesses were Gladys Buchanan, Dublin, and R Haldane Carson, chief crown solicitor, Belfast. She died on 6/7/1936. She leaves everything to her 3 children Jim, May and Freda in equal shares, and all 3 appointed as executor and executrixes.
