Biography
Richard Rollo Wilson was born on December 23, 1867 at 8 Middle Street in Dundee, Forfarshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. He was the son of 16 year old Catherine Ann Wilson (1852-)[1] [2] He was raised by his grandparents David Langlands and Isabella Hutton. As an adult he changed his last name to Langlands.
In 1871 [3] and 1881 [4] he was living with his grandparents and their children in Dundee.
According to his death certificate he married twice. The first time to Isabella Robertson and the second to Georgina Emalie Low Robertson. [5]
Richard Langlands died on December 13, 1943 just prior to his 76th birthday. He died from enlarged prostate and uremia at the Royal Infirmary in Dundee, Scotland. [5]
