Biography

John Wimberley (b. aft. 1633; living 1669; & prob. c. 1673), is the third son of:

• John (will 22 Apr 1642, proved 18 Jan 1647 PCC), son of Thomas Wimberley of Bitchfield, esq. & Spalding, Lincs. (bur. 11 Apr 1616 Spalding, Lincs).
• and Frances (living 20 Oct 1659), dau. of Sir William Welby, K.B. of Gedney and Susan FitzWilliam.^[2]

His father inherited a lease of Bitchfield, co. Lincs.

Siblings

Wimberley is not be confused with his older brother John, who died as an infant in July 1633.

Marriage

He married twice. The surnames of both wives are UNKNOWN.
