Edward was the son of John Winder and Jane Done.
He was educated by Mr. Clarke at Lisburn, and entered Trinity College Dublin on 9 November 1713, aged 16, B.A. 1718. [1]

Edward married Jane Merryfield, daughter of Rev. William Merryfield
He died in 1770. [2]
