Biography
Evelyn was the daughter of George and Persis Wingfield. She was baptised at Glatton, Huntingdonshire on 17 November 1857.[1]
Evelyn's marriage to Arthur Cayley Headlam was registered at Hatfield, Hertfordshire in the 3rd quarter of 1900.[2] They wed on 18 September 1900 at Welwyn, Hertfordshire. Her father is named as the late Rev. G Wingfield, rector of Glaston and Tickencote (both in Rutland), in a marriage notice in the Grantham Journal, Lincolnshire.[3]
Probate was granted on Evelyn's estate on 7 May 1924, with her death date recorded as 17 March 1924.[4] She probably died in Gloucester, Gloucestershire where her husband was Bishop, and her death was registered in Gloucestershire.[5]
