Biography

Wava was born in 1932. She was the daughter of John Wingrove and Mary Hughes. Wava married Donald Kerr in 1950. ^[1] She passed away about 2001.

"Wava A.Kerr,67,of Orlando,Fla.,formerly of Dawson,died Saturday,June 9,2001,in her late home. She was born July 20,1933,in Dunbar,a daughter of the late John Perry and Sevilla Hughes Wingrove. Surviving are her husband,Donald M.Kerr,children,Donna Diane McCune and husband,James,of Fairhope,Belle Vernon and Dale C.Kerr of Orlando,Fla.,two brothers,Frank Wingrove of Steubenville,Ohio,and William Wingrove of Uniontown,and two sisters,Donna Lang of Live Oak,Fla.,and Bessie DeMellow of the state of California. She is also survived by three grandchildren,Jamie,James and David McCune,and two great-grandchildren,Jason Miller and Chelsa McCune. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME,INC.,334 Main St.,Fayette City.Tuesday,7 to 9 p.m.,Wednesday,2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday,June 14,2001,until 1 p.m.,the hour of service with Elder Thomas Hamer officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. " [1]
