Biography

Isabella Winning was born around 1850 in Glasgow, the second of eight children of William Winning and Janet Barr.

During her childhood Isabella lived in Westmuir, Glasgow, with her family^[1][2].

In 1868, Isabella married William Dunbar in Camlachie, Glasgow^[3]. Isabella and William lived in Parkhead^[4], Camlachie^[5] and Shettleston^[6]. Their known children were:

Isabella was widowed in 1902. The 1911 and 1921^[7] censuses show her living in Bridgeton, in 1901 with her youngest daughter^[8].

Isabella died in Shettleston in 1936^[9] and was buried at the Eastern Necropolis^[10].
