"Samuel Sanderson, of Cloverhill, co. Cavan, J.P. and D.L., High Sheriff 1876, b. 2 May, 1834; m. 1 March, 1860, Anne, dau. of John Armytage Nicholson, of Balrath, co. Meath. Mr. Sanderson, who is 2nd surviving son of the late Samuel winter, of Agher [co. Meath], assumed the name of SANDERSON. . . under Royal License, 2 Oct. 1873."
