Biography
Hannes was born in 1732. He is the son of Johann Georg Winter and Anna Margaretha Backus.
Zion Lutheran Loonenburg baptism record for Hannes Sept. 3 1732 gives dob and lists parents as Johann Jurge Winter and Greta. Witnesses were Hannes Kurtz Bauhus and wife Lise Cath. [maternal grandparents] (NYGBR p. 25). Also Jones p. 1104. Same dob and bpt as Joh. Herman Kuhn.
Rhinebeck (Red Hook?) marriage record Mar. 14 1758 for Johannes Winter son of the deceased Joh. Georg Winter and Margaret Mayer daughter of Henrich, both of Rhinebeck.
