George Wirriot was born about 1530 at Picton Castle[1], Pembrokeshire, Wales.[2] He was the son of Henry Wirriot and Margaret, daughter of Sir Rees ap Thomas.[3] George was married to Jane Phillips about 1550.[4],[5] He passed away about 1599, at Orielton, Pembrokeshire.[6]

FYI - Here's an interesting tidbit for you. Regarding the entry for their son "John, o.s.p. = Katherine". The "o.s.p." used in the context of a family tree or pedigree is an abbreviation for the subject and means they "died without issue" or "died childless". It comes from the Latin "obiit sine prole", i.e., "died without issue". The abbreviation "d.s.p." can also be used and means the same.
