On Saturday, May 4, 1935 at Floyd, Lavina Hall, age 84 years. The funeral services will be held privately at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Roberts, at Floyd on Tuesday at 2 p.m. E. S. T. Interment will be in Wright Settlement. Friends may call at their convenience.[2]
Funeral services held for Mrs. Lovina Hall
Floyd, May 8 – the funeral of Mrs. Lovina Hall was held from her late home on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Harley Hill, assisted by the Rev. C. M. Fulton officiated. Mrs. Edward Bronson sang “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”.
Bearers were Frank Witherstine, Harland Rauscher, Garry Hall, Kernan Stannard, George Hall and Lynn Hall. There were many beautiful floral tributes from the willing Workers Society, School Children of district 2, Lee Valley Sunday School, relatives, neighbors and friends.[11]
