Freeborn was probably born in Salem Massachusetts soon after her parents Peter Wolfe and Martha Unknown immigrated from England. She married Robert Sallows. He died at sea when she was 29. She married John Black. She died in 1681 at about 46 years old.[1]
"1664. At a meeting of the Church March 17. Freeborne Sallo's, daughter of bro. Wolfe , having made her cofession and renewing her covenant, there being no exception against her, she was admitted to partake of the Lord's Supper." Peter Wolfe Lot. This lot of land belonged to Peter Wolfe in 1667, and he died possessed of it in 1675. He was a yeoman. His house and orchard with his eight acres of land were then appraised at sixty-eight pounds. Peter Wolfe, probably son of Peter Wolfe, is named as owning this lot of land in 1700.
