Biography

Flora was born in July 1863 in Warren County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Burgess Womack and Mary Webb. She passed away on 20 Dec 1940 in Parker County, Texas and is buried in East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Parker County, Texas.^[1]

Flora was living with her parents in Warren County, Tennessee until sometime after 1880 when they moved to Parker County, Texas.

Flora married James Monroe McClelland on 21 December 1898 in Parker County, Texas.^[2]

Flora filed a claim for Widows Pension based on the Civil War service of husband James McClelland in March 1929 in Parker County, Texas. Her pension was approved and began 1 March 1929.^[3]
