The early years
Mary Fern Wooderson was born in Mount Moriah, Harrison County, Missouri on the 1st of March 1914[1] to Bob Wooderson and Osa Wheeler.

She died on the 7th of January, 1982[1] in Bethany, Harrison County, Missouri and she would be buried in the Lloyd Cemetery in Mount Moriah, Harrison County, Missouri[4]
MARY ROOP[5] Ridgeway, Mo.- Mary Roop, 67, died Thursday at a Bethany, Mo. hospital.
She is survived by her husband , George Roop, of the home; one daughter, Sharon Owens, Denvier, Mo.; one brother, Ray Wooderson, Mount Moriah, Mo.; two sisters, Elsie Payton, Kansas City, Mo., and Kathryne Damon, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, with burial in the Lloyd Cemetery at Mount Moriah.
The family will receive friends after 7 tonight at the Roberson-Polley funeral home in Bethany.
