William was born 1783 in Swimbridge, Devon, England and was baptized on 15 Jun 1783 ^[1]

William married Sally Saunders on 15 Apr 1827 in Swimbridge, Devon, England ^[2]

In 1841, he was an Agricultural Labourer aged 50+ living at Ven, Landkey, Devon, England with his wife Sally and children Robert, John, William and George along with an unnamed baby probably James Woolacott ^[3]

In 1851, he was an Agricultural Labourer aged 65 living at Venn, Landkey with his wife Sally, son William and father-in-law John Sanders ^[4]

In 1861, he was infirm aged 78 and living at Venn, Landkey with his wife Sally his son John, John's wife Ann and their family Amelia, Eliza and Charles and another son George ^[5]

William died Q2 1861 in Landkey, Devon, England ^[6] and was buried on 26 May 1861 at Landkey ^[7]
