Biography
Jordan Meredith Worford was born on 13 August 1858 in Anderson County, Kentucky, United States, son of Nathaniel Worford (1830–1892) and Nancy Jane (Redman) Worford (~1832– ).[1]
Jordan (21) married Harriet Belle (Shouse) Worford (19) in 1880. Their children were:
- Lena J (Worford) Catlett (1880–1951)
- Julia Anne (Worford) Marlowe (1882–1953)
- Lillie May (Worford) Sea (1884–1902)
- Nancy Wallace (Warford) Shouse (1889–1963)
- Ancil Meredith Worford (1907–1980)
Jordan died on 6 March 1911 in Anderson County, aged 52. He was buried in Pigeon Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Anderson County, Kentucky.[1]
