Crabill Succumbs at 78; Services Thursday - Mrs Mabel M Haas Crabill, 78, 1927 E 17th St, died Monday at Ball Hospital after a long illness. A native of Hartford City, the daughter of the late William and Mattie (Klinger) Worthen, she had lived in Muncie more than 60 years. She was a member of St Paul's United Methodist Church and the Warner Gear Sympathy Club Auxiliary. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs John (Wilma) Lucas, Jonesboro, Mrs Walter (Norma) Robins, Yorktown, Mrs John (Barbara) Mock, Albany, and Mrs Joe (Olive) Hanson and Mrs Frank (Marjorie) Van Couwenberghe, both of San Anselmo, Calif; two stepsons, William Crabill, Texas, and Jack Crabill, Albany; a brother, William Worthen, Lafayette; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at Meeks Mortuary at 3pm Thursday, Rev Milton Beeman, pastor of St Paul's United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
