Biography

Lulu Alice May Wright was born in Broken Hill, New South Wales in 1896. Her parents were Edwin Harvey Wright and Lily Emma Weidenhofer. ^[1]

On 24 January 1920, Lulu married Oswald William Judd in Norwood, Adelaide. ^[2] They had two sons together; Clarence in 1920 ^[3] and Kenneth in 1922. ^[4] Oswald died in 1934 at the age of 37. ^[5]

Lulu remarried in 1936, to Samuel Henry Seymour, a widower with six children. ^[6] His two youngest sons, Stanley ^[7] and Frank ^[8] who were still living at home, were about the same age as Lulu's boys and they all moved into Lulu's home in Adelaide. ^[9]

Samuel died in 1955 in Payneham. ^[10] Lulu survived him by nearly 20 years. She passed away on 30 July 1974. ^[11]
