Nanny was born in 1796. She passed away in 1845.

Research Notes

Nanny is almost universally considered to be the child of Nicholas Wright (1775-1844) and Jenny (Blundell) Wright (1777-1799) in online research. However, her birth date is quite close to that of Richard Wright (1797-1835), also considered to a child of the same couple. Since Richard fits closely with the naming pattern that would be expected from Nicholas Wright (1775-1844), it seems like Nanny might actually be a child of Nicholas Wright (1768-1836) and Jane (Hooten) Wright (1772-1827), a couple that married in 1795 but that is not known to have had other children until 1799.
