George was born in Ohio [2-5] in 1807 to Conrad and Eve (Rupert) Yarian. He married Mary May in 1832 in Columbiana County, Ohio [1]. They raised a family of 14 children. George worked as a farmer [2-5]. George died in 1890 and was buried in Unity Brick Church Cemetery in Columbiana County, Ohio [6 & 7].
NOTE: Photo found in 2002 in estate of Miss Lulu Bierman of Columbiana. She was a great grandaughter of George Yarian and Mary May and grandaughter of Harriet Yarian and Samuel Rupert. Though not positively identified, it is believed to be of George Yarian and wife Mary May. It is a large print about 20 x 24 framed in oak about 1890 by local studio. Picture now in posession of Irene (Miller) Houke. Stone inscription: age 82 y 8 m 4 day
