Biography

Charlotte (Yarwood) Woods was born in Staffordshire, England.

Charlotte was born in Pitts Hill, Staffordshire, England, in 1882.^[1] Her birth was registered in the fourth quarter in Wolstanton. She was the daughter of George Yarwood and Susannah (Unknown), and one of at least nine children. She was enumerated in the 1891 census ^[2] as an eight year old residing with her family on Fountain Street, in Wolstanton. In 1901, ^[3] she was one of nine children residing with her parents in Tunstall, Staffordshire. She staed she was eighteen, single, and a "Potters Transferer".

Charlotte married George Alfred Woods in 1903.^[4] The marriage was registered in the second quarter in Wolstanton. The couple would have at least one child, George Alfred, about 1904. Charlotte, George, and son George were enumerated in the 1911 census ^[5] residing at Tunstall Court, Staffordshire.

Charlotte passed away in 1954.^[6] Her death was registered in the fourth quarter in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
