Lorana D Young was born on 1 Dec 1816 in Otter Creek, Mount Desert, Hancock, Maine, United States, daughter of Elisha Young (1790 - 1883) and Eunice (Bunker) Young (1792 - 1864).

Lorana married Leander Richardson , son of Hugh Richardson and Mary Scott, on 27 Feb 1866 in Mount Desert.
Lorana died on 5 Aug 1897 in Ellsworth, Hancock, Maine aged 80.
