Biography
James Nowell Young was the son of Gavin Young[1].
As Lt. Gen. James Nowell Young, he was the Judge Advocate-General, of Bengal, British India.
On Mar. 29 Mar 1854, he married Lady Frances Jemima Goodeve in Calcutta, Bengal, India[1]. She was granted the style and precedence of the daughter of an Earl by Royal Licence 1885 (b. 13 Dec 1831; d. 11 Aug 1887). Lt. Gen. Young and Lady Frances had children, but the Cracrofts Peerage did not name them. Lt. Gen. Young passed away on 13 Jan 1917.
