Margaret Young, daughter of George Young and Jean Fairbairn, was born about 5 Aug. 1833 at Galashiels, Selkirkshire, Scotland.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 1841 at Galashiels, Selkirkshire, Scotland.[3]
She married Robert Aimers on 31 Dec. 1850 at Melrose, Roxburghshire, Scotland.[4]
She and Robert appeared on the census of 28 June 1870 at Forest, Howard, Iowa.[5] She appeared on the census of 6 June 1900 in the home of her daughter at Stapleton, Chickasaw, Iowa.[6]
Margaret died on 26 April 1922 at Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa and was buried at North Cemetery, Lawler, Chickasaw County, Iowa.[2][7] Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[8]
