Matthew's death date is unknown, wife is shown as Widow on her death record in 1937, but she is shown as head of family and still married in 1901 and 1911 Census. This implies Matthew was still alive in 1911, but absent from the family home. Alternatively Matthew died before 1901 or 1911 and wife's marital status is incorrect on 1901 and/or 1911 Census.
