Biography

Andrew was born between 1815 and 1820 in Lanarkshire, Scotland.

He was a farmer of 60 acres, living at Haghill House, East Kilbride in 1881.^[1]

He died at Haghill, East Kilbride, Lanarkshire on 26 Oct 1887.^[2]

Andrew's DOB from the 1881 census doesn't agree with his age on his death record. The 1881 census lists his birthplace as Hamilton. A possible baptism was recorded in 1815 in East Kilbride. This would agree with the age of death at 72.^[3] - Baxter-4148 30 Sep 2022.
