Biography
Alice Camilla Zipperer was born February 28, 1900[1] in Effingham County, Georgia.[2] She was the daughter of Horace Zipperer and Alice Olivia Helmly.[1][2][3] Alice married Herbie Birdman Exley on August 31, 1919 in Effingham County.[1][4]
Herbie and Alice had one daughter, Myrtle.[5][6] Alice died on April 19, 1983 in Broward County, Florida. [7] She is buried in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah (Chatham County), Georgia.[8]

Myrtle Olivia Exley Rogers, 75, died June 22 in Brandon, Fla.
She was born in Savannah and was formerly with Nancy Lynn Bakery in Miami.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Peggy Lee Mathews of Mobile, Ala.; two sons, Otis Mathews of Vero Beach, Fla., and J. Herb Rogers of Brandon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday in Bonaventure Cemetery. [10]
