Identified by Jones (1991) as the son of Johann Martin Zitzer and Maria Catharina.
Bpt: 21 Oct 1715 in Poppenweiler, Württemberg, Germany. Johann Friederich is the son of Martin Zitzer and Maria Catharina.[1]
Jones finds him on Dutchess Co. records through 1760 and proposes a marriage to Johanna Wingfiel / Wutfiel probably based on their children’s records (p. 311).
Wife listed as Anna in daughter Elisabetha’s record, as Johanna in son Johann Martin’s record, sponsored by the grandfather and step-grandmother.
