Biography
While spellings are different than the family's last name, this is the same Mabel Zweeres who was the daughter of Ida and Washington Zweeres.
Mabel was the ninth of thirteen children. She never married. Her life was cut short at age 20 when she was killed in an automobile accident on January 2, 1922.
She was one of four passengers in the vehicle. They left Newton at 7 o'clock in the morning to go to Bristol, Connecticut. The vehicle skidded on an ice patch and went down an embankment, killing Mabel Zweeres. The Coroner determined her death was accidental. See link to two newspaper stories in "sources."
