Advice before editing this pre-1700 Wheeler profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Samuel Wheeler. This is what I can add:

• Born to Obediah and Susan Wheeler on the 22nd of the 12th month of 1644.  

These are the sources I am using: Mass. Town Vital Records Boston, Transcript of County Records. Ancestry.com Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, Boston

• Would someone please connect Obediah Wheeler as father?

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Nancy, how do we know that the Samuel Wheeler born in that day was the man who married Mary Perry?
