Can we detach another false Plantagenet descendancy?

The Irish Quaker Catherine (Talbot) Hadly (c 1647-1710) is connected without any documentation to a mother who serves to connect the family to Eleanor Plantagenet.

There is no currently known documentation of Catherine's parentage and much to suggest the attached parents are incorrect. See the Comments section on the profile for additional information and questions.

If the parentage is entirely undocumented should they be detached (with a notation what parents were detached)? Similarly, if there is no record of these parents having had a daughter Catherine can we go ahead and detach?

Thanks, Eddie. I see the website linked from the father's profile now cites Burke's which I don't believe it did a few months ago.

Sorry, but I'm going to be pedantic.

If, Eddie, you have actually seen Burke's Peerage and it states "only surviving child was Richard" then that's fine, but if this information has come from Darry Lundy's website thePeerage.com then we don't know if Richard Talbot, was the only surviving child, or Burke's has only listed Richard, which they sometimes do to follow a particular lineage, or Darryl Lundy, as only got around so far to transcribing Richard to his database.

It's a minor point I know, but I think we need to be careful we are citing what the source actually states.

I would have looked for more stuff but I had to bake a salmon with baby bella mushrooms and watch the 4th season of St Elsewhere.

By the way, did you know if you bake your salmon on a bed of sliced fresh peaches, it's super delicious ?
I'm actually allergic to salmon, but love peaches.  We had a peach tree in the backyard when I was very young.

Go for it!

We do first need to show her parents can't be documented or that these parents never had a daughter (I find no record of one but the 'peerage' cited for the father isn't well-documented).
Yes, go for that.

I would go further, and ask what's the source that states Talbot is her maiden name?  There doesn't appear to be anything currently on her profile that confirms that.

When I first read the information from Margaret Kerns (one of the PMs) I thought she was indicating the maiden name was documented in the Kendall book but that appears to not be the case--it gives only her given name.

The source of the Talbot maiden name appears to come from family tradition which in that case according to Chalmers Hadley's 1916 work Notes on the Quaker Family of Hadley (which appears to be quite well researched for the period) does not come with a given name (nor does it attach the Catherine to any particular Talbot family). Chalmers Hadley states Catherine was the first to join the Quakers. If correct and this postdates marriage, there will be no Quaker marriage record of the maiden name. He gives some background on family tradition ("valued only for what it is worth"), not documented, that Simon Hadly was from Somersetshire. It does appear that Chalmers Hadley worked closely with the PRO Dublin and the records of Moate Meeting in West Meath.

I note that PM Billie Walsh has removed the Talbot parentage from the profile.

I notice findmypast has the Irish Quaker records amongst their databases.  Maybe you can find someone with a subscription who can do some look ups for you?
FMP has some Irish Quaker records--sadly many are not transcribed or imaged anywhere and others may be found piecemeal on various websites. FMP's Moate meeting records (1680-1731) contain limited entries for the Hadly men, father and son, in 1698 and 1704. The first concerns the younger being reprimanded by the meeting and the other is the elder confessing he didn't handle things too well when the younger was courting a young lady who was being courted by another young man. There don't appear to be any entries concerning Catherine in the available digital images (which surprises me so still looking).
